There are all kids of laminating film on the market today. You don\u2019t have to just run gloss laminate. The challenge for most of your customers is helping them stand out above the competition. Consumers have so many distractions today that sometimes, you need a different approach to grab their attention. So, how can overlaminate film help them do this?<\/p>\n

Laminating film<\/a> now comes in all kinds of textures. If people are overly stimulated visually, you can try to stimulate their senses in other ways. One area of marketing that is being explored is touch. As an example, a direct mail piece that has a unique touch to it may stick out more in the mail. Touch is a sense that can stimulate action. Without thinking too much, grab a pile of direct mail and see which one sticks out the most to you in your hand. The right laminate can make a direct mail piece stick out.<\/p>\n

Gloss (UV) Vinyl \u2013 3 mil\"D&K<\/a><\/h2>\n

This gloss finish is a bright glossy finish. It does a great job of pulling out the colors in the document. It has UV inhibitors which provides your document protection from indirect sunlight and indoor lighting. It hardly feels like the document is laminated, nor does it look like lamination.<\/p>\n

Luster (UV) Vinyl \u2013 3 mil\"D&K<\/a><\/h2>\n

Luster is a blend of gloss and matte. There is very little reflection off the laminate. There are times when the low glare finish is needed. Luster makes the document appear elegant and rich. The really cool thing is it does not look like the document is laminated.<\/p>\n

Matte (UV) Vinyl \u2013 3 mil<\/h2>\n

Matte is a perfect application to soften your image and reduce glare. Again, the application does not feel like you have a laminate over your document. A great application of the matte lamination is trade show signage where glare from overhead lighting can become an issue. Like all the pressure sensitive Brilliance line, the UV inhibitors help protect images from indirect sunlight and indoor lighting.<\/p>\n

Canvas (UV) Vinyl \u2013 4 mil<\/h2>\n

Want to make an image look like a painting? The Canvas lamination makes a picture look like it is on canvas. It has thereflection of the luster lamination as a blend of gloss and matte.<\/p>\n

Marketing and marketing design is about stimulating an emotional reaction for consumers to take action. Touch can play a part in direct mail, post cards, coupon cards and or trade show marketing material. \u00a0Something that stands out from the rest of the pile will help get a consumer to actions that they might otherwise not take.<\/p>\n
